The UFC Fight Pass Invitational closed its year on a high note with its latest edition. Last night in Las Vegas, and early morning here in Brazil, UFC FPI 9 took place with the theme Brazil vs. United States.
There were 10 matches featuring major names in the sport, and in the end, it ended in a 5-5 draw. In the main event, Mikey Musumeci made his debut with the organization after leaving One Championship and faced the Rio de Janeiro native Felipe Machado.

The fight between the two unfolded as expected, with Musumeci trying to impose his leg attack game, but Felipe managed to defend well while also making dangerous attacks on the American’s feet and legs. However, the victory went to Mikey by points.
In the previous fight, Renato Canuto delivered another great spectacle to the audience, whether they were watching in person or via pay-per-view. In the best fight of the day, Renato Canuto and Jason Nolf, jiu-jitsu vs. wrestling, gave it their all. However, the Brazilian managed to impose his game more than the American, attacked, and created more danger, securing the victory, his second consecutive win in the organization.
