On December 5th, in Las Vegas, Mikey Musumeci will return to the mats. After a turbulent departure from One Championship, where he spent the last few years and built a highly successful career in grappling, Musumeci is making his return, this time signing with one of the biggest jiu-jitsu organizations in the world: the UFC Fight Pass Invitational.
Musumeci will face the talented and dangerous Felipe Machado, a product of Rio de Janeiro and one of the main names from Pirâmide Grappling, the first No-Gi exclusive school in Brazil, which has been standing out in major competitions.
Mikey Musumeci is a four-time world jiu-jitsu champion by IBJJF and has won all of the federation’s major tournaments, while Felipe has a very dynamic and aggressive game that has been drawing a lot of attention in big events.

The UFC Fight Pass Invitational, besides being a platform for athletes to showcase their talent, has also been a way to further popularize Jiu-Jitsu worldwide, elevating the sport to a broader audience, especially among MMA fans, who often watch these events as a complement to the martial arts universe.
