Dante Leon already has a new commitment scheduled by One Championship, Asia’s largest combat sports organization. The American will face Scandinavian Tommy Langaker in his second grappling match at One Fight Night 27, on January 10, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Dante made his debut for the organization on December 6, when he submitted Bruno Picci in the first round in the lightweight division. Dante had an amazing end to 2024 and grabbed attention when he submitted Mica Galvão in the second match of the ADCC Absolute. At the same event, Cole Abate made his debut against Shinya Aoki, whom he also submitted in the first round.
Tommy Langaker is one of the most talented and dangerous athletes in this division and has already won some of the biggest titles in the sport, such as the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship and the IBJJF No-Gi European Championship. In 2023, Tommy had an incredible campaign and won the ADCC European Trials.
One Fight Night 27 will take place on January 10, 2025, and will feature the main event between Tang Kai and Akbar Abdullaev for the organization’s featherweight title.
